This is ideally a 6V6 full scrimmage wih serves game, though you could do this with less players if needed. Set up 2 teams, designate what systems they will use and have each team select a "floor captain". Coach will select a number between 1 and 25. Whatever number you choose that is how many points the teams need to win. This is a 1st to that number win, not win by 2. You will only tell the team captains what the number is. It is their job now to encourage and push their team to sty consistent and get to the goal number before the other team. Have captains play ock, paper, scissor to see who gets 1st serve. If you play this more than once have the teams select a new captain each time as it will help players to lead their teams and generate ebergy/momentum.
This is a great drill to help teams to focus as they never know when the last point will be. Teaches all players how to boost their teams up consistently It helps with having players play and serve under pressure Works on serve receive and allows teams to work on their lineups Coverage can be made a focal pint as well Communication is huge here, nit just from the designated captains.
