DESCRIPTION

Series of progression drills for the groundstroke.

  • For younger kids use smaller rackets and foam or low compression balls.
  • Start by pairing your players and having them stand facing each other about two meters.
  • One player starts with a self hit about head high and then alternate tap ups with the other player hitting the ball to a target area between them.

Tips:

  • You can use a poly spot or hula hoops for the target area.

Safety:

  • Ensure players are well spread out.
