In this drill player works on legs' strength. Performing squats is an easy way to develop muscles that are necessary for proper footwork. Additionally players have to remember that physical preparation is a must in tennis to get to the next level as also to significantly limit injuries. Coach should teach players to perform squats with proper technique (upper body straight, knees are not going in front of the toes) to get the most of this exercise.
