DESCRIPTION

  • Player kneels down on the ground.
  • Player holds down the resistance band with left hand.
  • Player grabs one part of the resistance band and moves it back and up with the straight arm.
  • Player recovers to the starting position.

 

COACHING POINTS

  • The player works on strengthening shoulder and tricep muscle of the dominant hand.
  • Working with the resistance band is a great method to develop strength.
  • Players should do this exercise as a routine before the practice improve their serve as well as to prevent possible injuries.
