DESCRIPTION

  • Hurdles are set in front of the player.
  • Player performs jumps forward over the hurdles on one leg.
  • Player switches legs after every 2 jumps.

COACHING POINTS

  • The player is working on coordination, balance and strength of their lower body.
  • Working with hurdles is a great way to develop explosiveness which is key when executing serves or offensive shots.
  • Coach should pay attention to the physical form to address any potential issues that the player might have.
