DESCRIPTION

  • Player stands sideways to the net.
  • Resistance band is attached to the net.
  • Player keeps band in right hand.
  • Player keeps elbow close to the body and performs movement inside the body.


COACHING POINTS

  • Players work on prevention by taking care of shoulder rotators.
  • Shoulders have to deal with a lot of pressure while practicing tennis so part of the warm up should always include prevention drills to ensure these parts of our body are ready for the demands of modern tennis.
  • 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions are enough to make sure that even hard practice won't end up with shoulder injury.
