DESCRIPTION

  • Player serves from one side.
  • Coach feeds random ball after the serve is in.
  • Player reacts and has to hit forehand from all the court.


COACHING POINTS

  • Player works on serve and forehand use from all the court.
  • Combining serve and next shot forces player to work on aspects that during the match will decide the quality of the service games.
  • Recovery, reaction, movement to the ball and decision making are all skills that are in use after the serve while competing so players shouldn't forget about that.
  • Additionally, the majority of players have stronger forehand than backhand so they should plan to use this stroke right after the serve to increase the chance for winning the point.
