Two players play out a point and they are not allowed to step outside of the back of the court (resticted area).
If players do step into the restricted area they immediately forfeit the point.
This should encourage players to attack the ball early as they may get caught out if they allow the ball to bounce before moving.
Swap feeder after each point.
Play first to 10.
-Lines of cones are placed as seen in the picture above.
-To make the drill easier it can be played on one half of the court and later progressed to full court.
-If the ball lands in the service box a point is deducted.Ball landing between the 2 lines of cones = 1 point.Players gain 3 points for shots hit into the last quarter.
-First player to 11 points wins the game.
-The game can also be started with a second serve.
The coach feeds a drop-shot from the basket. Players 1 and 2 are at the same end as the coach and are positioned at the net.
Player 3 must run forwards to try to get to the drop-shot and play it up to either of the players at the net.
The players at the net must lob-volley the ball back over player 3's head. Player must then 3 run back to chase the ball hitting it again to either of the players at the net, who then drop volleys this ball.
The point continues in this way until an unforced error is made or player 3 cannot run anymore!
Coach, 4 players, and a basket of balls.
Player 1 starts on the tramlines opposite the coach.
Coach feeds the ball across the court for player 1 to run on to and hit a deep running backhand to player 2.
A rally continues until a point is won.
Player 1 retreats to their starting position, player 2 joins the queue, and player 3 joins the drill.
Repeat the drill until all players have played player 1.
Rotate players and repeat the drill.
-Players play in pairs as a team and alternate shots scoring a point each time a shot is hit in the back 1/3 of the court.
-If a ball is hit short the players can attack.
-Attacking shots should also be hit deep (1/3 back of court) and if they are hit as outright winners the team will score an extra 3 points.
-First side to 7 points wins the game.
-The game can also be started with service and then carried on as described above.
Players work in groups of 3. Players 1 and 2 rally for 1 minute after which player 2 steps aside and allows player 3 to tale their place. Players 1 and 3 rally for 1 minute, during which time player 2 walks to the other side of the net, ready to take over from player 1 after the 1 minute is up. Player 2 and 3 now rally for 1 minute.
2 teams two balls Players play a half court rally until one makes a mistake for the first point. The second ball then becomes live and should be played out by all 4 players for the second point.
Both player inside service line 1 near to to centre and other service line/sideline. Player hits volley to coach (2) and moves out to sideline, then player 2 moves in for the volley back to coach (2). Players continue holding rally.
Coach stands on the ad side. Cones are set on the deuce side. Coach throws random balls. Playerâs goal is to hit 3 balls in a row back to coach and forth one into the cones.
The coach stands on the service line and rallies with the player, who is stood on the baseline. Everytime the player returns the ball, they move forward. Once at the net, they move backwards after every shot. The player executes groundstrokes behind the service line, and volleys inside the service line.

Coach and player rally together. Using 2 racquets each, coach and player have to always catch the ball between the racquets and then hit it over the net back to the partner.
The court is marked out with cones into areas (e.g. red, amber and green). Players try to anticipate which area the ball is going to land in so that they can respond with the most appropriate tactical return. A buddie coach stands behind the player and tells them which shot they should play (ie. approach the net, lob etc.) depending on the area that they are hitting from i.e. where they are standing/ running on court as they hit the ball. Players will need to watch the body shape of the coach and the ball contact carefully to anticipate what type of shot is being hit and therefore where it is likely to land.
Players rally with each other from the service line. After each shot, players have to make a kangaroo jump, bringing their knees as close to the chest as possible.
Player waits for the serve on the ad side. Coach serves wide from the ad side. Player executes deep backhand slice return in cross-court direction.
Player stands on the baseline. Coach feeds balls to the ad side. Player executes deep backhand slice down the line.
Play on a 1/2 court (so you can have two games going at the same time). 2 players close to the net. Start the point from 1 player balancing the ball on the net and letting go. When the ball drops into the court it is allowed to bounce once. After this they play a volley rally over the net to try and win the point.
Player stands on the service line. Coach stands on the baseline. Player rallies with coach. Coach hits regular topspin balls into the player's legs. Player executes adeep backhand half-volley to the center of the court.
Coach feeds balls to the deuce side. Player alternates hitting deep forehand cross-court and forehand angle cross-court.
The idea of the game is to get the feel of the court. All you have to do is cover the whole net with black bin liners so you cannot see the other side of the net. Play the rally out and try to anticipate where the ball is going land and get to know the court. Eventually play points and games to get a feel of the court.
Players rally together. Player has to say "bounce" when the ball bounces on their side and say "hit" when they make contact with the ball.
The coach feeds the ball to team A, they then have to hit it into the target area cross court. -Player from team B hits down the line if possible, however if under pressure from the depth or pace of the shot,then player B should play cross court or down the middle. Team A are hitting mostly cross court.
