DESCRIPTION

  • Coach stands next to the player.
  • Coach drops the balls from a regular height at fast pace.
  • Player executes dynamic forehands in a row from regular height of the bounce.

COACHING POINTS

  • Player works on maximum acceleration from the regular bounce.
  • The most comfortable point of contact for any player is from around the waist level so using these balls to put pressure on the rival should be a priority.
  • Player has to maintain good dynamic position and focus on full acceleration to develop the skill of hitting at maximum velocity for a few shots in a row.
  • This skill is especially important in offensive situations when players have to execute more than 1 really offensive shot.
