DESCRIPTION

-Either the coach or the players themselves throw the ball over the player's shoulder.
-The player runs around to hit an inside-out forehand into the target area.

OFTEN USED WITH...

Inside-out Forehand:

Coach feeds the ball down the line
The player starts in the middle and runs round to hit an inside-out cross court forehand to the target area
Alternatively a target can be positioned down the line and every third stroke can be hit to that direction

Forehand Drills

Inside out forehand and winner:

Players start in the centre and hits the first shot back to the coach with an inside out forehand.

The player then moves on to a short ball to hit a winner, either a cross-court forehand or a down the line stroke.

Inside-out forehand:

Coach feed
Player has to move round to the tramlines
Then play a forehand diagonally cross court

Forehand Drills

Forehands (Inside out) (Dead Ball) Forward.:

Drill set-Up:
Players start off on centre and moves around backhand for first forehand then moves off to play seconf forehand.
Topic of Emphasis:
Players should turn and prepare, back peddle for inside out forehand, then recovering and pushes off for second forehand.
Variation:
Players can alternate the direction of the balls, as well the coach can vary positions 1 - 3.
