The coach feeds balls to the player's ad side from the opposite end of the court.
Starting from the centre of their baseline the player, who stays on the balls of his/her's feet, moves into position and hits forehand inside in between two cones placed in one corner of the opposite end of the court.
In this exercise, the player works on running around the backhand and hitting forehand inside in. Coach can emphasize proper movement (crossover behind) and crucial parts of strokes technique (early preparation, contact point, weight transfer).
The player has to be aware that by running around the backhand, he/she leaves forehand's side open so this shot has to be executed with offensive mindset. To make it more difficult, coach can set up zone to hit given number of balls or can shorten recovery time by feeding faster.
