DESCRIPTION

Coach feeds alternate ball 1 forehand followed by on backhand.

Players hit two shots each before going to back of the que.

Players have to ytry and hit the ball deep down the line.

Deep Forehand And Backhand Drill | Forehand & Backhand Drill

Deep Forehand And Backhand Drill:

Players will be fed 2-6 balls each.

The balls are hit down the line into the target area as marked by the cones.

The feeding can be varied i.e. higher, faster or with more spin.

Forehands (Inside out) (Dead Ball) Forward. | Forehand & Backhand Drill

Forehands (Inside out) (Dead Ball) Forward.:

Drill Set-Up:
Players line up on the centre and moves out to play first forehand and then runs around backwards and plays forehand.
Topic of Emphasis:
After the first forehand the player needs to back peddle with the racket turned and should step away from the ball prior to contact.
Variation:
Players can alternate directions and coach can feed from 1 - 3 positions.

Ground strokes under pressure:


-Feeder hits first ball to forehand alley.
-The second ball if fed to backhand alley.
-The third feed goes deep to the forehand side.

Long and short down the line | Forehand & Backhand Drill

Long and short down the line:


-The Coach feeds (i) long then (ii) short.
-Each player has two shots,both must go down the line.
-Player is aiming for the targets.
