The coach feeds two balls to a player all on one side of the court. In response, the player hits one cross court shot, and then a shot down the line.
After two shots, the player rotates and does the same from the opposite side (i.e. if forehand for first two shots, next two will be backhand).
Coaching a group of players is a challenge for any coach. Knowing players strengths and weaknesses is a necessity to prepare successful tennis practice. Playing from the basket puts a lot of pressure on short intervals which means 2-3 shots in a row. Rest of the players should be occupied with other physical activities to improve and be involved while waiting for their turn.
