1:1 duels or shooting

Pass A to C, C to A and goalshot or duel 1:1 with defender 1. Defender tries to block the goalshots or defend in a 1:1 duel. Pass B to C, C to B and goalshotr duel 1:1 with defender 1. Defender tries to block the goalshots or defend in a 1:1 duel. After the goalshot grab a ball from the corner, dribble to your starting position again.

Anti-Clockwise - Triple Threat

Blue players pass the ball around the grid, always throwing the ball in front of the player so that they have to meet the ball. This time though there are 6 players stood between the outer edge players and three defenders who are working together to mark two players each. The central defender must only go up and down, always marking the central blue players. Defender 1 and 2 must work together and cross over so that player one is always marking the player on their right side and player two is always marking on the outside left.

Anti-Clockwise Contest

Blue players pass the ball around the grid, always throwing the ball in front of the player so that they have to meet the ball. As the blue players run out to meet the pass green 1 and 2 must also run out to contest and defend the ball.

Anti-Clockwise Cross-Over Contest

Blue players pass the ball around the grid, always throwing the ball in front of the player so that they have to meet the ball. The green players in the middle must work together to move forwards and challenge for the ball. After one player has contested (against players 3, 4, 5 or 6) they must cross-over and be ready to challenge for the ball again against the player on the opposite side of the square.

Around the circle

Players pass the ball clockwise around the area. The players nearest the end players receive the ball alternately and throw the ball to the next player who then passes to the end player. After they have made a pass the players inside in the square cross the court.

Defenders try to defend their cones by only using their body, so no hands and arms allowed to hold the attacker.

Drill can be used as part of a warming-up or stamina drill when done at a higher speed or for a longer time period. 1. Players move sidewards with sidesteps 2. Players skip in position and move sidewards with cross-legs.

Players make low skips and start moving sideways at the signal of the coach. Players use cross-over technique.

Players run forward and jump on leg and make half a turn and run on backwards. Always face up to watch for 'opponents'.
