DESCRIPTION

Shooters will line up with a basketball each.

The player with the ball will dribble away from the screen at first and also to get level to have a better angle to use the screen.

The players will dribble off the screen to get seperation when they are 1 or 2 dribbles away from the screen the player will stop and shoot a jump shot.

Hand Off Pass - Full Court Break:

Player 1 dribbles diagonally while player 2 cuts behind them. Player 1 gives a hand off pass and player 2 dribbles away, change the direction and then go for another hand off pass and continue all the way down the floor and finish with a lay up shot.

Shooting

Hand Down Dribble:

Player dribbles the ball on the spot. On the signal they must put their non-dribbling hand on the floor and dribble around in a circle.

Dribbling

Dribble Weave Game:

Players in a line about 5-10 ft away from each other.

The 1st player with the ball will dribble weave in and out of every one in the line. Once they get back to their original spot they will pass the ball to the person behind them.

The rule is that you must go around everyone to get back to your spot.

Dribbling Relay

Pass and Lay-Up Drill:

Set players up as shown in diagram.

One player on each side will dribble/run to half court.

Once they get to half court, the players will turn and face the basket.

The player with the ball will pass across to the other player. That player will then pass back to the original ball handler. Where that player will dribble to the basket and shoot a lay-up.
