Basketball: Diamond Tag

Set players up as shown in diagram. One player on each side will dribble/run to half court. Once they get to half court, the players will turn and face the basket. The player with the ball will pass across to the other player. That player will then pass back to the original ball handler. Where that player will dribble to the basket and shoot a lay-up.

Players dribble around the outside of the cones (in the same direction). On the whistle all players have to change direction

Setup as shown in the diagram. Players have to dribble through the slalom, on reaching the end of the slalom the player then shoots.

Place basketballs 3m from players Player starts on their back and on the signal gets up, picks up the ball and starts to dribble around the cone and back again. When the ball is placed down on the floor the next person can go.

Can be done anywhere. Stand on the spot and dribble the ball a variety of ways and facing different directions.

Dribble 2 basketballs on the move.  When players reach a cone the ball on their outside goes behind their back and the other ball crosses over in front. Players then continue running to the next cone and repeating.

First player dribbles full court with a defender covering all the time. Upon reaching the opposite baseline player dribbling becomes the defender and the other player dribbles the length of the court.

Cones set up in a zigzag formation. The player dribbles to the cones and uses a change of direction move to get to the next cone.
