White Player 1 is 'On'
Blue Players 1 to 8 try to dribble their basketballs to the opposite line.
Any players that the white player touches are 'caught' and will be 'On' with white player 1.
The players that make it to the other side continue until there is one winner.
Players start out in the corner on either side of the court.
Set up 2 cones in front of the players. The 1st cone 15 ft away. The 2nd cone 30 ft away. There will also be a chair 18-20 ft away from the basket.
Players dribble to the 1st cone and perform a change of direction dribble.
Player then dribbles around the 2nd cone and then dribbles at speed towards the chair.
When they reach the chair they should quickly change direction, move and attack the basket where they will finish with a lay-up.
Players will dribble up court with their right hand and back with their left hand.
To begin with this should be done at a comfortable pace, ensuring players keep the ball under control.
However, after a practice run you can then line up your players so that they perform this dribble drill under race pressure.
