DESCRIPTION

Players must shoot from a seated position. This will help players to focus on their upper body shooting technique.

COACHING POINTS

Look for a good guiding hand (non-shooting hand) plus a flick and follow through.

Wall Juggling | Catching

Wall Juggling:

Stand 1m to 2m away from the wall. Throw one ball against the wall for it to bounce back to the other hand. Catch the rebounding ball in the other hand having transferred the other ball to the throwing hand. Repeat.

Two Ball dribble and Switch | Dribbling

Two Ball dribble and Switch:

Dribble 2 basketballs on the move. 

When players reach a cone the ball on their outside goes behind their back and the other ball crosses over in front.

Players then continue running to the next cone and repeating.

Skill Pass and Dribble - Part 2 | Individual

Skill Pass and Dribble - Part 2:

Stand 10 feet away from a wall.

Start the drill off by making a 1 handed pass against the wall and catching it with your other hand.

Once the ball in caught with your other hand, bounce the ball through your legs twice.

After this make a 1 handed pass back to the original hand.

Turn and Pass | Advanced Ball Handling

Turn and Pass:

Players drive out to receive the pass, turn 360 degrees and then drive past the chair to have their shot.
