DESCRIPTION

  • Same as stage 1 only the player jogs and jumps from their left foot and shoots.

    Lay Up Shot - Stage 1 | Shooting Techniques

    Lay Up Shot - Stage 1

  • The player holds the ball and walks towards the basket.
  • The player then (right handed player) plants their left foot, bends their right foot forward, and shoots the ball with the right hand.
  • Distance should be 1 step away.

  • The player walks towards the key and stops.
  • Player put their left foot in front and on signal goes two steps and shoots (two steps ? right and after left and jump up)

  • same as stage 3, only use one bounce with the strong hand.

  • 1 player stands near the key, another player passes the ball to him/her and receiver put the ball on his/her right hand to the side.
  • Player who passed the ball runs and before taking the ball from the hand needs to plant the left foot on the floor and after collecting the ball he/she execute a lay up shot.
