DESCRIPTION

8 Players with 2 basketballs

Player 1 starts with one ball and passes to Player 2 who in turn passes to Player 3. Players have to follow their pass.

As soon as player 1 has reached the spot vacated by player 2 then player 7 steps in and passes the second ball.

Extras

pass and follow:

Players get in a circle and pass the ball to anyone in the circle. On passing the ball they then follow their pass and take that persons place in the circle.

Passing

Full court passing and dribbling:

Players are stood in each corner of the court with two players stood in the center circle. On the coach's signal players 1 and 2 start dribbling before passing to players 3 and 4 respectively who return the pass.

Players 1 and 2 then dribble further before passing to players 5 and 6 and moving towards the elbow of the free throw line to receive the return pass from players 5 and 6. They then immediately pass to the players 7 and 8.

Players 1 and 2 should now replace players 5 and 6.

Pass and follow:

Player 1 passes to player 4 and follows their pass. Player 4 passes to player 5 and then follows their pass. This process is repeated until the ball reaches player 10 who on receiving the ball dribbles back to the start.
