DESCRIPTION

  • Place basketballs 3m from players

    • Player starts on their back and on the signal gets up, picks up the ball and starts to dribble around the cone and back again. When the ball is placed down on the floor the next person can go.

    Round and Change | Dribbling

    Round and Change:

    Players dribble around the outside of the cones (in the same direction).

    On the whistle all players have to change direction

    Gate Running | Dribbling

    Gate Running:

    Ball each. Players have to run from gate to gate dribbling the ball whilst avoiding each other.

    Zig-Zag Dribble Drill | Dribbling

    Zig-Zag Dribble Drill:

    First player dribbles full court with a defender covering all the time. Upon reaching the opposite baseline player dribbling becomes the defender and the other player dribbles the length of the court.

    Ball bounce on line:

  • All player start on line

    • On the signal the players must move backwards and forwards over the line whilst maintaing the ball dribbling on the line.
