Players form 4 lines inside the 18-yard box. The first player from each line will become the back line of our defense as the WB, CB, CB, and WB. Four dummy players will be lined up in front of the defenders, numbered 1-4 from L to R. Coach will call out a number of the player that "possesses" the ball. Players will provide Pressure, Cover , and Balance as we have discussed. Try several times with each group and then rotate.
We are trying establish shape and responsibility in the defensive lines. Make sure cover and balance defenders are maintaining good shape and covering passing lanes. Players should keep weight on the platforms of their feet.
