Players form two lines at cones 20 yards apart. The green player plays the ball to the red player then begins defending. The red player is trying to drible the ball into one of the popo up goals on either side. The green player is going to close down space and look for an opportunity to separate the attacker from the ball shielding the ball with their body. One the red player wins the ball, they should be looking to play the ball through one of the yellow sets of cones. Players switch lines and the next pair of players go.
Defenders must close down space quickly. When the attacker makes their move to get around, the defender must be physical in inserting their body between the attacker and the ball to win it. One the attacker loses the ball, they should put their shoulder into the defender to pressure the ball and try ot win it back.
