To progress in to a game, we play a 6v6 match with goalkeepers. In order to score a goal, every player in your team must be in the opposition half, meaning there will be quick counter attacks and recovery runs.
The halfway line acts as an "offside line" meaning if you win the ball, you can't just play the ball straight up to your striker who is unmarked in the opposition half.
This match shows players the importance of tracking back as a team, but also getting forward as a unit to support eachother.
