Organisation/Explanation:
- 2 laps including active stretching mobility to get the legs moving/blood flowing/heart rate going.
- straight into rondo/cheva for a bit of fun/get a feel of the ball (5v2). Use this drill as a way to get some sharp movement, keeping possession of the ball in tight areas. The objective is to get 10 passes without a defender touching the ball. If a defender wins the ball they change 1 in and 1 out depending on who is in the longest.Every 10 complete passes, the defenders stay in for 1 extra. 2 sets of 4mins blocks.
- Agility/speed (hurdles, ladders) to really get the legs moving and prepare the body for the next drill. Start behind the cone, move upto the ladders 4x different combinations followed by hurdles. This drill must be done with some intensity to further increase heart rate and blood flow. 4 reps x 2 sets (2groups).
Altogether this should take about 20 mins.
