DESCRIPTION

Setting Up

  • 1 ‘batsman’
  • 1 ‘bowler’
  • Rest of the students fielding, 1 x wicket keeper to collect ball if it rolls away
  • Set up batsman & bowler (similar to normal cricket field)
  • Wickets at batsman’s end
  • Cone at bowler’s end
  • Set up fielding area
  • Another wicket approx. 10m to the right of the batsman

 

Game Play

  • The bowler must roll the ball to the batsman (aiming for wickets to try get out)
  • The batsman kicks the ball into the designated fielding area
  • The batsman must run to the other wickets and back
  • Bowler can roll the ball before batsman is back
  • If ball hits wickets, batsman is out

 

Rules For Fair Play

  • Batsman can’t get out first ball
  • Batsman must run every time the ball is kicked
  • The bowler must roll the ball
  • When the batsman reaches 10, batsman changes around
  • Rotation of batsman & bowler so all students have a turn

  • Roll the ball
  • Kick within fielding area
  • Kicking KTP's
