End zone possession practice. 2 players from each team are locked in the middle zone. No other players can enter middle zone. The ball must travel through the players locked in the middle zone before a goal can be scored in the end zone. Players must receive the ball on the move in the end zone to score a goal. If 5 passes are made in a row, a goal will be awarded. The first team to 5 goals wins! Progressions: Players in the middle zone can now rotate in & out of the middle zone with any team mate. Players can now dribble into the end zone to score a goal.
Clever movement in the middle zone to receive the ball. Patience in possession/decision-making. Individual challenges, EG: play off 1 and 2 touches, movement away from the ball to create space for others, being calm in possession. SMART press out of possession.
