
The Session has four stages, the warm up stage pictured (FAR LEFT). Stage two, Agility, Speed, Power & Reaction (CENTRE). Stage three coordination box (Right). Stage four - Floated delivery into the box. The warm up begins after some social interaction. The player jogs through the zig zag lane way in a straight line. Jog through twice. Then the player jog's through the lane way a further two times and reactes to the ball thrown by the coach. Once complete the player is required to follow the cones in the agility zig zag leading with the knee. Three times through. The coach progresses the session by adding in a hurdle jump at the and and a volley. Progress to a high jump catch. Lastly the player hops on one leg and reacts to the coaches high catch throw. Keeper must maintain eye contact. (Progress to main session) - Footwork - Speed, agility, power and technical reaction/handling. - Footwork Coordination - Speed, agility, reaction and power with technical handling. - Crosses (unchallenged) - Before delivering the ball into the box for the goalkeeper to claim. Position the goalkeeper in the appropriate areas for a starting point. Prepare the goalkeeper by serving the ball to the goalkeeper from the corner of the 6 yard box (creating imagery in the goalkeepers ead). If the goalkeeper masters this technique move onto the final phase of the session by delivering multiple crosses into the box (The goalkeeper must touch the post and re-position to trigger the cross)
