In order to progress this in to a match scenario, the group is split in to 3 teams, each with 5 players, as well as 2 Goalkeepers total.
The pitch is split in to 3 areas, 2 defensive zones and an unopposed central area.
The black team start with the ball and attack the orange goal. If they score, they regain possession and attack the white goal.
If the defensive team win possession, they must get to the central zone, as the attacking team try to recover.
Once they reach the central zone in possession of the ball, they are now the attacking team and must attack the orange goal.
Every time a team wins possession and gets to the central zone, they become the attacking team.
For every goal scored, the team earns a point.
If a team scores 2 goals without losing possession, they earn 2 points, 3 points for 3 goals etc.
This exercise is interesting as we can see how quickly the attacking team recovers after losing the ball to stop the opposition getting to the central zone.
