Have a start point for all players, all players with a ball each. indicate several distances from start point using different colors. 3m (yellow cones) 5m (red cones), 7m (blue cones).
Start by having players throw/roll their ball as far as they can, run to their ball and dribble back to the start point. Practice overhead throws, underhand hand, roll forward, roll backwards between the legs. etc. (8mins)
Progress to having all layer hold ball above their heads, coach throws players ball, players need to stop the ball before it goes past a certain distance. have each player go atlas 3 rounds (7mins)
Water Break (5mins)
Introduce a goal 5m away from the furthest distance, have players practice throws and rolls, then shooting the ball into the goal before dribbling back. first allow players to stop the ball before shooting, progress to one touch shooting.
if too easy, another progression is have player shoot before ball goes past certain distances (shoot before blue, shoot before red, etc) (8mins)
Progress to having coach roll/throw ball for each player, coach can call out which goal to shoot in, which foot to use, or throw the ball at an angle to increase difficulty. (7mins)
