DESCRIPTION

Organisation

  • 15 players including 1 goalkeeper split into 2 teams of 7
  • 6 players lines up either side of goal and team mate is on diagonal edge of penalty area.
  • Player passes ball into isolated attacker who shoots at goal 1st time. Player then re-joins team mates and next player moves to isolated position.
  • Opposite team then takes shot and repeat by alternating turns.

Progression

  • 1st shot is with laces.
  • Next with instep of foot.

Progression 2

  • Now use weaker foot

Coaching Points

  • Try to hit the bottom or top corners of the goal to make it difficult for the goalkeeper.
