Overview: now its time to get into the passing, I have decided to do a passing drill that is fairly simple but can be more complex for the people who pick it up quickly. the drill is simple, set up 3 channels of cones in the shape of a triangle. the teams of 3 will have to pass the ball in the channel all the way around the triangle to complete level one, however if one person makes a mistake, the whole team start again (introducing team motivation). once they have completed the first triangle, they can move onto the second, which will be even bigger, requiring a longer pass. all the same rules apply. once this has been achieved they can move onto the third triangle which is huge. They will have to pass around the triangle and count the amount of full completions. Once everyone has completed the third triangle, they must work as one big group, passing the ball round the triangle. four people on each point. they will have two lives each and must pass the go to the back of the line, every time you make a mistake you will lose one life. the winner is the last person in the triangle, when it comes down to the last 2, they will pas in a line but it will keep getting smaller until one makes a mistake.

Possession without purpose is pointless. These drills combine ball retention with physical conditioning to create teams that dominate and outlast opponents.
Teams have just 6 seconds to exploit a turnover before defences reorganise. Learn how to train your players to attack with speed and purpose.
