In this drill, the area will be split into three different areas, the defensive third, midfield third and the attacking third. Each zone will be limited the a certain amount of touches, the defenders will have 2 touches, the midfielders will have 3 touches and the attackers will have unlimited touches. There will also be a channel on either side of the grid where 1 player will be, who can play for either side, whoever he gets the ball off, he plays back to them. Once one team has got the ball up to their striker, 1 of the midfielders can push into the attacking third to help the striker out against the 2 defenders.
