Set up a square roughly 10m x 10m.
Have a few players at each corner.
In 2 of the corners (diagonal) a player starts with a ball. They run clockwise around the square to the next corner. When they reach the corner they put their foot on the ball to stop it so that the player at that corner can take it over immediately.
The ball moves clockwise around the square.
Repeat anticlockwise after each player has dribbled the ball a few times.
Skills dribbling - players dribble with the ball to the first cone which they should then run around in an anti-clockwise direction.
They then run to the second cone and run around this one in an anti-clockwise direction as well.
From this point players run through the two gates before running from the near right to far left cone, along the back edges of the blue cones (far left to far right) and finally around the near left cone before dribbling back to the touchline.
Look for close ball control at all times.

Possession without purpose is pointless. These drills combine ball retention with physical conditioning to create teams that dominate and outlast opponents.
Teams have just 6 seconds to exploit a turnover before defences reorganise. Learn how to train your players to attack with speed and purpose.
