DESCRIPTION

*Original Author - Jason Sisneros - from United Soccer Coaches Preseason Issue - August 2017, Vol. 62, No. 5 (College/Professional)

Area: 2 10 (L) x 10 (W) grids stacked on top of each other

Duration: Coach's discretion

Players: begin with 6 players and expand to 12 players split into 2 teams

3v1 to the attack on 1 side. The attackers try to keep possession, while the defender is trying to win the ball and get it back to his 2 waiting teammates to create a 3v1 in their grid. Once you open the game up to 4 grids, the objective now becomes possession of 4 passes and then a penetrating pass to score.

Suggested Progression: 4 5 (L) x 10 (W) grids stacked on top of each other.

COACHING POINTS
