Set #1: Acceleration Sprints
During this sprint, players will focus on their running mechanics and building acceleration. For the first 3 cones (1/2 the distance, or 9 yards), players will focus on leaning at a 45 degree angle, staying low, to activate your lower body in order to create speed. As players pass the third cone, players will straighten their posture and use the speed built in the first phase to finish the drill at full speed.
