DESCRIPTION

Friendly Game vs Coventry

Talking points:

  • Finola positiioning on Striker observe and follow Maggie's lead. 
  • Crystal obsserve Mid field positioning and goalie. 
  • Brianna observe DF and moving the ball upfield.  Keep head up and listen for teammates passing.  Have Mike discuss DF skills.
  • Ava have Michelle discuss positioning for goalie and pushing the ball to the sidelines vs. middle when distributing the ball.
  • DF distributing the ball and carrying up the sidelines, NO PASSING into the middle while on DF half of field.  Staying Goalside 
  • OF moving into open speace while covered, positioning. Shielding and passing outside when covered. 

COACHING POINTS

Subs 1st Half: Crystal / Brianna / Finola 

  • Sub Finola as Striker (Maggie) 
  • Sub Cystal for Lauren or Lily 
  • Sub Brianna for Caroline (possibly swapping Julia and Jessica) 
  • Maggie back in for Brooke 
  • Brooke back in for Finola 
  • Caroline back in for Brianna or Arielle. 
  • Lauren or LIly back in for Cyrstal or DF. 

2nd Half subs: Finola/ Lauren / Brianna

  • Finola sub in for Ava, Ava will sub back in for Maggie. Maggie back in for Brooke. Brooke back in for Finola.  
  • Lauren will sub in for Lily.  Lily back in for Julia or Arielle.  Either will sub in for Caroline or Jessica. 
  • Brianna will sub for Arielle or Jessica.  Whomever she replaces will go to DF Left Fullback not the Center DF.
