DESCRIPTION

  1. Players start at the yellow cones simbolizing a defense shape. Ball start with the coach in the middle who strikes a ball to the GK.
  2. Players will move from the yellow cone to the blue cones to open the field.
  3. GK starts the play with the RD.
  4. When the RD receives the ball RM opens the field to the second blue cone.
  5. RM will dribble the ball back to the start.
  6. Repeat exercise on the left. 

COACHING POINTS

  1. Players should move quickly to increase width and length of the field.
  2. Body shape should allow players to see the whole field.
  3. Sharp receiving and passes are important to give flow to the system.
  4. GK should always look to play long first then move to the edges of the boxes to facilitate distribution.
  5. Team should move as a unit strecthing the field when the ball is coming to that side and pinching into the middle when the ball is going to the opposite side. 
  6. Specific communication from the GK is important specially when punting the ball.
