Four boxes 15 yards x 15 yards with channels between each marked.
Play passes and on coaches command reds play pass in clockwise direction to red in channel and one player supports. Play 2v1 to get in to next box. Player from channel moves in to box and player who passed in remains with yellow defender.
Initially no tackling, just body position and interceptions.
Add tackling and then allow yellow player to enter box and try to win ball back before two passes have been made. Swap defenders every two minutes.
Progress - make four boxes in to two boxes and work ball from top box to bottom box trying to break through a back four. Two strikers start in channel with back four and two others can join (4v4) to make it to oher channel. Once in back four turn round and play from other side.
Add in coach command. 4 v 3, 4v4, 4v5 and then add in recovering midfielder.
