Moving Goal Game

Two equal teams play with one ball in half the court. Two players who are on neither team hold an elastic cord (or a spare bib/piece of material) to form a moving goal. These two players must run around the pitch, keeping the goal open (stretched out). The aim of the game for the other players is to score a goal into this moving goal through use of a bounce pass.

Playing inside half a court with a large mat in the center players try to press the ball onto the mat in order to score a point for their team. After scoring the ball must be played to a player on the opposite team on the side line and then start the attack again ( quick throw off imitation).

Two equal numbered teams play against each other with normal rules.The only additional rule is that at no stage may a team be ahead more then 1 goal. So at 1-0 the team who are ahead have to keep possession until the end of the game.Only if the opposition scores may they try to score again.Play this way with 5-10 minute games with regular break.

Playing inside a restricted area (inside the 6 or 9 metre line) two small teams try and keep possession of the ball for as long as possible. The defending side should have more players than the attacking side.

5 vs 5 game (can be played with or without goals).Game 1:Possession keeping game where all passing is with the hands by throwing and catching. Teams score a point for every 10 passes they make without losing the ball.Game 2:Alternatively you can play this game with goals. All passes must be made with the hands (players can't run with the ball in hand) and players can only score with a header.

Playing across a half-court each team has to try and score on the opposition's mat. Instead of scoring in a goal players must place the ball on the opposition's mat - if the ball rolls off then the point is void! Players are free to move anywhere within the half-court area and normal rules apply apart for scoring a goal.

<br>Setup:- The children pretend to be small, fast motorcycles. - The ball serves as the &quot;handlebar.&quot; Players must navigate obstacles while moving through the play area. - Actions include: - Moving slowly, quickly, sideways, or backward. - Changing direction or swapping balls during movement. - Overcoming obstacles such as jumping, balancing, or tossing and catching the ball while in motion. - Honking (making a noise) if another player gets too close. <br>Make it More Challenging: - Players can only walk on the lines of the sports hall (representing roads). - If two players meet on the same line, they must turn around. - Dribble while following the lines. <br>Obstacle Variations:1. Crossing rivers: - Hoops are placed slightly apart, requiring players to step into them to &quot;cross.&quot; 2. Wide river jumps: - Hoops placed farther apart; players must jump between them. 3. Hanging bridge: - Balance along a thick rope or on benches (using the wide or narrow edge). 4. Through the forest: - Cones and poles placed close together; players must avoid touching other players or obstacles. 5. Crawling under a tunnel: - Create tunnels using benches covered with gym mats; players must crawl or slide underneath.

Based on the defender's movement player 4 should decide whether to pass to player 6, player 5 or not pass at all and take the shot on themselves. Blue player 1 starts with the ball and moves to make their defender follow them out of position, once they've dragged them outside they pass to player 2 who does the same and then passes to player 3 who passes to player 4. At this stage the game becomes 'live'. Blue 6 is stood between the two defenders and blue 5 is ready to make a run down the outside. Depending on the decisions made by the defence player 4 can pass early to player 6, throw the ball into the path of player 5 or simply go it alone and take the shot on themselves.

Players stand in groups behind different cones. Players must pass the ball to the player opposite them and then follow their pass behind the player on the opposite side. Players can use a variation of passes: Center shot, jump shot (3,2,1 step rhythm), push pass, bounce pass, double handed pass, rolled pass, pass using your weaker hand etc.

In this drill players receive a wide pass and then move towards the defender. Once they're within arm's reach they should move as if they're offloading the ball across their body (so a right hander would feint the pass to the left). At the same time they they should drop their left shoulder to make the move more convincing. After doing this the attacker should quickly shift their weight and push off their left foot to explode in the opposite direction and run around the right of the defender.
