Hey Andrew! Here's a great cones drill for you:
Drill Name: Passing in 4s - Short and Long
Description: Set up a triangle with 4 players on the outside, 2 on one cone and 1 on each of the other 2 cones. The ball starts with the first player in the cone with 2. A 1-2 pass is played with the next player in the triangle, followed by a long pass to the next player. This sequence of alternating short and long passes continues around the triangle. Players move one cone after completing the long pass.
Coaching Points: Adjust the distance between the cones based on the desired intensity and passing distance. Encourage good acceleration after each long pass. Ensure firm long passes and appropriately weighted short passes.
