Working with a ball each players must hop from one foot to the other, placing their foot on the ball with your toes raised slightly above your heel.
Trapping the ball with the sole of the foot is not encouraged to control passes as the ball can often slip under your foot.
However, this skill can be useful when dribbling the ball or looking to beat your man with a quick change of direction.

Players repeat this skill but are now moving from one line on the pitch to another by either pushing/pulling the ball with each footstep.
