Phase 1 Three person drill combination to move up the field as a team. The receivers must go to the ball to receive it. The first two players must run hard to get in to shooting positions. When the ball arrives, whereever it is, they must quickly communicate to determine who is in the best shooting position. Phase 2 After some static goes, introduce two defenders - both with starting positions in the centre of the pitch. These two defenders must track the runners through to intercept the cross before they do.
