
2 Player Passing and Receiving
Setup: 2 cones approx. 10 metres apart 1 ball per line 1 player at each end Instructions: Player makes passes or tosses (depending on skill) to opposite player and receiving player returns with defined skill. For tossing skills, switch after 5-10 completions Skills: Simple pass - 2 touch Simple pass - 1 touch Simple pass - direct behind cone, inside foot Simple pass - direct behind cone, outside foot Simple pass - direct behind cone, inside foot Simple pass - direct behind cone, outside foot Pass with curve - inside footSlight lift to the ball Toss - volley return one bounce Coaching Hints: âCall for the ballâ â middle player needs to call for the ball before player sends. Move back and move forward â Move back from player to make space and move to player when ball is passed Athletic stance so that they are always ready. This is for all players, not just the middle.
