Possession style drill 2 teams + 2 goal keepers Team in possession must complete 5 passes and get the ball back to the coach to score a point. Team out of possession must use 3 players to press and win the ball back and try and score if they do its worth 2 points. Progression:- 1) Instead of the pass going to the coach this time when they complete 5 passes to score a point they need to pass to the other team (now we can work on the transition element of counter pressing) 2) Now after 5 passes are complete they can try and score into their own goal (now we can work on the transitional moment maybe when a team is pressing high up the pitch now all of a sudden having to defend their goal) - also good for the keepers transitional awareness (if the pressing team win the ball back they always try and score into that goal)
