The idea of this set up is to make any area the opposition can play very tight. You must work hard across the pitch as a unit to close the space and stay tight as a team, whilst being prepared to work hard in the opposite direction if the ball is switched.
1. Strikers, nearest stroker to the full back presses. The 2nd striker drops in a little to be in an attacking midfield position, whilst being prepared to press the CB if the ball goes back that way. 2. AT MID, Presses the deepest midfielder to stop him recieving the ball. 3. Wingers, nearest winger presses to the full back to double up with the striker. Opposite winger drops in deep to be prepared to support the defence. 4. CM, drops a little to be in a central position to pick up any run from their midfield. 5. DM, shuffles across to pick up their most advanced midfielder. If he drops deep, do not track him as you will be required to drop if they play the ball long, talk with the other CM to get him close to that run. 6. Defence, stay tigh as a unit, with the central of the 3 always being free to pay as the sweeper.
