Set up 4-4-1-1 yellow (East Fife) with RM out of position causing a midfield breach. Red are set up as 1-4-1-1 (Jeanfield) Start with ball on half way with yellow striker feeding red LM and defend from there. Progress to adding a LB breach.
Yellow A must get out and close LM showing inside. Cannot get beaten on the outside. Yellow RM must make attempts to get back and if cannot put pressure on red LM, must make extra number in CM. Yellow RCB to drop and offer cover. Yellow LCB to shift over and cover red striker. Yellow LB to shift over and show no space between CB and LB. Yellow LB also ready to drop if ball is switched over head to red RM. Yellow D to stay close to red CM, but also ready to close red LM if she cuts inside. Yellow F (RM) must tuck in to close gaps in midfield. Deepest striker to attempt to cover distance to add to numbers in middle. On breach at LB - RCB gets across to cover after the initial drop. LB attempts to recover, or take up space vacated by CB. LB comes in to back post and midfielders stay with players. Clearances go wide not centrally - gates will be added in for clearances.
