An 8v8 match (inlc. GKs) in which both teams line up in a 3-3-1 formation. If the team has possession in their defensive third, the opposition may not enter the final third of the pitch, allowing the team in possession to build up play and look for a decisive pass practiced in session 1.1. Using a full pitch allows for lots of space, meaning the players have to work on their shape and cutting out the options for a pass. The ball must stay below head height, or it is an indirect freekick to the opposition. In the middle third of the pitch, players are allowed a maximum of 3 touches.
The players practice building up play and looking for decisive passes through the midfield.
