In this session, we focus on defending 1v1 against an attacker, focusing mainly on the wings. The middle player begins by playing a sideways pass to the winger who must try and beat the defender and score a goal. They must attack down the wings and not use a direct route. If the defender wins the ball, they must try and play a pass out to the original player. Once the ball is dead, the group of 3 rotate out for another group and each time the players swap roles. To progress, the "middle" player can now make a recovery run to try and block the ball on the goal-line.
