Warm Up with Hurdles

DESCRIPTION

Dynamic warm up + stretching

Start for about 3-5 minutes doing runs up and back around the cones:

  • High knees
  • Heels up
  • Open the gate
  • Close the gate
  • Lunges
  • Side to side
  • Short sprints
  • (Do any stretches if needed)

Warm up with ball

Start from the centre hurdles and do zig zag, two foot jumps, one foot jumps, run over them. Move to the hurdle on the right complete the action the move to the hurdle on the left. Complete the following actions for a few minutes each:

  • Passing (both feet)
  • Kicks to hands
  • Scoops
  • Catching in the air (motion of a cross)
  • Low dives
  • Mid-Range dives
